Well, I must say. Why do people always come to me with problems? Actually, it's more like they  have problems and I just show up. I really hoped I helped Steve. I think I gave him the best advice anyone can ever give: pray. I can understand his pain. I don't know why but I always sympathize with the people that come to me. I put myself in their shoes and really think hard of how it would be like to be in their situation. I don't even know why I try this hard but I really want to help them and I always try to inflict the pain they have on me so I feel it with them.  I just do it naturally without a second thought. I think this a gift God gave me. Thank you, God...

I just came back from Districts and I did not make Regionals. Didn't get moved at all. I was not very disappointed when I found out that I was still 8th. Personally, I have a feeling they got the scores mixed up and the girl in front of me shouldn't be there. But I don't mind. I felt bad for her because she is a senior and didn't make it in until this year. Plus, she's a foreigner (Albanian). Eric Michaels and I were stand partners. Joyce pretty much ignored me through the entire districts thing. Ack, I don't care. She was hanging out with this guy that got accepted to Harvard and other competitive violinists. I seriously believe she was FLIRTING with Steve (the guy). I, on the other hand, spent my time with Kate (violinist) and Alice (violist). They were nice people. We played our instruments a lot and it was cool. We're thinking of making a quartet. It was like our sound was made for each other/complimentary to the others. Of course, I don't know how it's going to pull through. It was enjoyable anyhow. I really wish Amber made it, I'm sure she would have enjoyed. That includes Nathan and Sabrina. It sucks that they didn't make it. Man, I got 5 or 6 exams to do on Monday.

Well, I must say that I am a genius at times. I somehow convinced Dad that Calvin was not made to play the violin. So he is now probably going into soccer or something.

Quote of the Day: "Fully 1 million emigrants fled the famine between 1845 and 1851, going primarily to the United States and Great Britian, and at least 1.5 million people died or went unborn because of this disaster." (McKay, Hill, and Buckler aka AP Euro book).

Greetings all! I'll probably be changing my music periodically. I like all Gigi's music. Her tunes are always very good and the lyrics are just superb(that is if you know chinese). The song you guys are listening to now is "My Way". It's very interesting. Enjoy...
